Of the later houses, one of the most interesting is a century-old low rambling house sheltered beneath large oaks on the banks of Huspah Creek. Soon after the Civil War, a white frame house was built by George Waterhouse, Sr. Felix Ewing added three rooms and a small office. Mr. and Mrs. Pingree added two additional rooms - a large drawing room and a bedroom. The old parts of the house blend with the new.
